In Polish Orphanages, children are out of their beds, playing, singing and being taught to count and read. They are competently prepared to enter the "public" school system by age seven. Most importantly, they are loved!

In 1736, Father G. P. Baudouina founded the first orphanage in Poland. As they celebrate the 262nd anniversary of this noble institution and the beginning of this excellent system of childcare in Poland, one must realize that over 36,000 children have passed through this one facility alone.

There are nearly 300 facilities in the Polish Orphanage system serving children from birth through approximately 18 years of age in 14 administrative districts throughout the country.
